Their primary responsibilities include managing administrative tasks, overseeing office staff, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Supervision & Training:
Hire, train, and supervise office personnel, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists.
Ensure staff members adhere to office protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.

Patient Scheduling & Coordination:
Oversee patient appointment scheduling to optimize the dentist’s time and minimize wait times.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve any scheduling conflicts or concerns.

Billing & Insurance:
Oversee billing procedures and manage insurance claims, including verification and follow-up.
Ensure accurate patient billing, including processing payments and providing billing statements.

Financial Management:
Manage the practice’s budget, including overseeing office supplies, equipment, and other expenses.
Track revenue and expenditures and assist in implementing financial strategies to improve profitability.

Compliance & Record Keeping:
Ensure that the office complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Maintain and organize patient records in a secure, accurate, and confidential manner.

Customer Service & Patient Relations:
Foster positive relationships with patients and ensure their satisfaction with the care provided.
Address any patient complaints or issues promptly to maintain a high standard of service.

Marketing & Business Development:
Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
Manage social media accounts, websites, or advertising campaigns to promote the dental office.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficient in dental office software (e.g., Dentrix Ascend) and office management tools.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a must.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Requires prior experience in dental office management.
The role combines administrative skills with customer service and financial management, playing a vital role in the overall success and efficiency of the dental practice.

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent (preferred)

10+ years of dental management experience

$100,000 + Bonus

You will be eligible to participate in any benefit plan that the Company has adopted or may adopt, maintain, or contribute to for the benefit of its regular employees generally, subject to satisfying any applicable eligibility requirements.

Holidays

After six months of service, the Company recognizes the following holidays as paid holidays:

  • New Year’s Day: January 1
  • Memorial Day: Last Monday in May
  • Independence Day: July 4
  • Labor Day: First Monday in September
  • Thanksgiving Day: Fourth Thursday in November
  • Christmas Day: December 25

Paid Time Off

You will also receive 40 hours of paid time off per 12 months worked, up to a maximum accrual of 80 hours.

You will be required to coordinate all time off with your manager, while ensuring your work is completed and you meet your goals and objectives at a satisfactory level.
