Compose a detailed treatment plan tailored to the individual patient, outlining dental options for patients, interacting regularly with the dentist, providing payment plans and financing options for patients, and answering phone calls or emails from patients that have any questions about treatments. Assist the doctor in getting patients to understand and accept the recommended treatment and subsequently coordinate the treatment plan to work for both the patient and the dental office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interviews with patient on medical history or to obtain other patient information.
- Formulates a treatment plan for the patient.
- Help patient with financing and payments plans.
- Helps with the check in and check out of patients.
- Collects for all rendered services.
- Creates dental claims for billing.
- End of day reports.
- Check eligibility and or limitations on dental plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with 2-4 years of related experience
